Orange Park Mall Recognized with Distinguished Designation as an Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) Certified Sustainable Property

ORANGE PARK, Fla., December 4, 2025Orange Park Mall, Clay County’s premier family-friendly shopping destination, owned by Second Horizon Capital, announces it has been recognized by the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) as a Certified Sustainable Property. This designation recognizes Orange Park Mall as a green building for exhibiting high standards and practices that support sustainability through management in green building performance. The certification is part of Orange Park Mall's broader effort to focus with intentionality on enhancing our center, elevating our operating performance, and serving as a vital community hub and local economic engine.

Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the Certified Sustainable Property certification recognizes responsible real estate management, and how resource efficiency can improve net operating income (NOI). To receive a Certified Sustainable Property certification, a property must meet key specific initial requirements followed by a comprehensive evaluation of sustainable practices in energy, water, health, recycling, and purchasing. The IREM® CSP Certification showcases quality, responsible real estate management and recognition of resource efficiency and environmental sensitivity.
